カリフォルニア大学アーバイン校（以下、UCI）は現在「燃焼」「燃料電池」「都市エネルギー」を柱とする研究を行っています。ここではエネルギーと環境に関する世界への窓口、最先端の研究を行っており、HORIBAから人材派遣やHORIBA製品を研究に採用いただくなど、40年以上に渡り交流を行っております。今回、UCI燃焼ラボに在籍する教授や研究者、生徒の活動をインタビューを踏まえてその活動の一端を紹介いたします。
